About Steve & Helen

Steve and Helen met in Central Florida and fell in love. They got married, blended their families together and then the fun really started. They’re always up for a good time and always quick with a joke. Yep…they’re fun and feisty. Family means the world to them and they’ll prove it if you ask about their newest grandchild (she’s pretty darn cute). The only thing they don’t do on their terms is your taxes because, you don’t mess with Uncle Sam!

So how did the business begin? After Steve graduated with honors from Stetson University he interviewed with a few accounting firms. They were all incredibly stuffy and that is something that he is not. Both Helen and Steve are normal people and you’ll usually find him in flip-flops and her in jeans. Long story short—Steve decided to open his own business. One that put community, friendship and family first. With his wife by his side, he found a small office tucked away in Apopka. They worked hard, holding onto their values unwaveringly and spent the past 25 years building their business into the success it is today.

Still in the same small location, Rock Springs Tax & Accounting is a thriving company that gives back to the community. Customers become friends and friends become family. Just step into the office and it will become immediately apparent that the Jones’ care about the work they do and the people that walk through the door.
